Hypertension
Hypertension remains the single largest contributor to cardiovascular mortality, yet only a minority of patients reach guideline targets. Sessions cover resistant hypertension diagnosis and adherence, renal denervation in the post-approval era, zilebesiran and twice-yearly RNAi for blood-pressure control, secondary causes including primary aldosteronism, hypertension in pregnancy and the elderly, and the integration of home BP monitoring and AI-supported titration. Discussion addresses race-, region- and access-related disparities, and the global burden in low-resource settings.
