Cardiac Imaging
Photon-counting CT, CMR mapping and AI-augmented echocardiography.
Imaging is being transformed by photon-counting CT — now in routine use at major centers for ultra-high-resolution coronary, calcium-blooming-resistant stent, and TAVR planning imaging — alongside FFR-CT, plaque burden quantification, and pericoronary fat attenuation as an inflammation marker. CMR sessions cover T1/T2 and ECV mapping in amyloid, myocarditis, and sarcoid, contrast-free protocols, and 4D flow. Echocardiography programming features AI-automated EF and strain (Ultromics, Us2.ai), valve quantification, and PET-MR for endocarditis and sarcoidosis.
