Digital Health & AI in Cardiology
AI-ECG, wearables, foundation models and clinical implementation.
AI in cardiology has moved from algorithm publications to FDA-cleared products and live deployment. The track covers AI-ECG screening for low EF, amyloid, and aortic stenosis (PREVUE-VALVE, EAGLE), retinal-image CV risk stratification, and foundation-model approaches to multimodal CV data. Sessions examine wearable-driven AF detection (Apple Heart, Fitbit Heart Study), continuous remote monitoring in HF (CardioMEMS, FIRE1), and the operational and governance challenges of large-scale deployment, including bias, dataset shift, EHR integration, and reimbursement under the new CMS AI codes.
- AI-ECG: low EF, amyloid, AS, hyperkalemia screening
- AI structural-heart screening: PREVUE-VALVE, EchoNet
- Wearables and consumer devices: AF, sleep, hemodynamics
- Remote monitoring in HF: CardioMEMS and pressure sensors
- Foundation models and multimodal cardiovascular AI
- Implementation science: bias, dataset shift, governance
- Reimbursement, regulation, and the FDA AI/ML pathway
